Gear

 As mentioned, we will be camping for much of our trip - with a baby and a car, so most of the family's camping gear would be inappropriate. Sadly, it required us to go and get some more gear! GEAR GEAR GEAR! I do love the gear. 

For the first time in my life I will be sleeping on a queen sized mattress INSIDE a tent! Yup. 

Here's a sampling of our gear. 

 

As mentioned, we will have a blow-up Queen sized mattress in the tent!

The nights will be bright and warm (and less spooky) with our new propane lantern. 

I love, love, love, my MSR Pocket Rocket. It can boil water in no time flat and packs up smaller than a paperclip. GEAR GEAR GEAR GEAR

This is where we will keep our food - when not in bear country! We hope to stop for groceries every couple days and will be on the look out for road side produce - can you say Summer Fruit!?
